Shake it Out

As winter takes one last dying gasp by dumping another load of snow on the Vancouver suburbs, I'm reminded of the current song du jour, "Shake it Out" performed by Florence and the Machine.  The song has nothing to do with snow or Winter in general, it's more about moving on from the things in our past, which is a common theme as we come into Spring.  It's a bit of a roundabout thought process that you hopefully understand - otherwise we might run into a few problems over the course of the next several month!  It's another quick one this week but I figured you wouldn't really need me to explain this song or theme further since I thought it was pretty self explanatory.

But just in case, here's my tip for the week: Spring is about new beginnings so take a chance, make some new mistakes, and never stop learning about yourself and the world around you.  Let go of the things in your past that are holding you back because (as Florence sings),
"Regrets collect like old friends...
...Because it's always darkest before the dawn...
And it's hard to dance with a devil on your back
So shake him off."
