The Reveal

A while back, I wrote about a curve ball that came out of left field and knocked me on my ass.  For a variety of reasons, I haven't been able to talk about it openly until now.  The company I work for is getting re-structured which means I'm losing my full time position and going back to being a part time contractor.  Cue dramatic reveal music and shocked face!

 

One of the hardships of being new to the industry is trying to get yourself established.  It's been great working with The Finer Details as I've had opportunities to take on a more hand-on role which may not have happened at a larger company.  I've learned so much and feel ready for a new challenge.  I'm not feeling shocked or upset anymore - now I'm feeling excited (when I don't think about the bills that will pile up if I don't get hired!) and ready to jump into a new role.  First thing is first though...I need to get hired somewhere!  Sending out resumes and going on interviews isn't always the most pleasant experience so if anyone has any leads, feel free to send them my way =)

I guess the only thing left to say at this point is look out world, cause here I come again!
